This event is part of the Coffee and Viz event series.
Friday, October 16, 2020 at 9:30am to 10:30am
In this online presentation Dr. Laura Tateosian from NC State’s Center for Geospatial Analytics will use data extracted from geotagged images from a journey to Chile to demonstrate prevalent geospatial-temporal visualization techniques. Dr. Tateosian will challenge the audience to think about new ways to create spatial-temporal visualizations that are more expressive and that evidence human experiences as we move through space and time.
This event is part of the NC State University Libraries on-going Coffee & Viz series. Attendees will be entered into a drawing to receive (via mail) their choice of a coffee bag or tea tin and a mug from locally-owned sweet shop Anisette.
Free and open to the public.
