Join us for an in-person artist talk with fine artist and collagist Clarence Heyward. Talking points will include Clarence’s background and an in-depth look into his work, including insight into his practice and processes, navigating through the art world and how he makes a living as a full-time artist. The artist talk will be from 5-6 p.m. and will be followed by an optional Campus Conversation session led by their facilitators. The Campus Conversations Project engages our widely diverse campus in conversations across differences while developing the key academic and interpersonal skills of critical thinking, cultural competency, empathy and self-awareness. Their discussion will be on topics presented during the artist talk by Clarence Heyward. The Campus Conversation event will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Per NC State University COVID-19 guidelines, this event requires all attendees to wear face coverings indoors.

Open to all NC State students, NC State faculty and staff, and community members; space is limited. Please register here
