Event Description

Join best-selling author and NC State alumnae Therese Anne Fowler in conversation about her new book A Well-Behaved Woman: A Novel of the Vanderbilts, based on the life of Alva Smith, who became Alva Vanderbilt and went on to lead the women's suffrage movement. Co-presented with NC State’s MFA in Creative Writing Program. Books will be available for sale on-site from Quail Ridge Books, and Fowler will sign books following the program.
