Computers and Software

The Design Library has four Unity workstations which NC State University patrons may use to access their Unity filespace and the full suite of Unity applications.

The Design Library no longer has a public-access computer. A Guest Researcher Workstation is available and requires login by staff. This workstation provides access to the Libraries catalog and databases.

Free wifi is available in the Design Library. Access it from one of our devices or from your own device. For more information, see Connecting to Internet and Campus Network.

Scanning

The Design Library has one BookCopy overhead scanner. Users can scan materials for free and email scans from the system, or use a USB drive to download scans as PDF, JPG, or TIFF.

Printing

The Design Library has one black & white WolfPrint printer. The cost is $0.10 per page and paper size is 8.5” x 11”. There are a variety of printers at the College of Design. See the College’s guide to printing.

Larger print jobs can be arranged through Wolf Xpress Print and Copy Services. You can check your print credit, add funds, or learn more at Wolfprint.
