The NC State University Libraries has robust online collections to support teaching, learning, and research as instructors move to remote instruction.

Due to the Coronavirus response, publishers and vendors have made the following resources freely available for a limited period of time to facilitate online instruction and research. Resources will be added to this page as they become available.

Arcadian Library

Bloomsbury is offering access to the Arcadian Library, a collection of over 90,000 primary source texts and images about European and Middle Eastern history with special focuses including the History of Science and Medicine and Europe and the Ottoman World: Diplomacy and International Relations.

VitalSource and Cengage Unlimited eTextbooks

Wolfpack Outfitters partnered with VitalSource and leading publishers to provide free access to textbooks and ebooks to all NC State students through May 25, 2020. Students may begin accessing these materials today at bookshelf.vitalsource.com. Cengage is providing their etext components via the VitalSource Helps program as well. Most users of their Courseware (MindTap, WebAssign, etc) should be opted-in to the appropriate content.  Use this quick guide on borrowing books via VitalSource if you're having trouble getting started.
