Overview
To inform the development of the Next Generation MyLibrary, the Next Generation MyLibrary subgroup organized one focus group of undergraduate students and one group of graduate students. A list was created of proposed personalization and customization features based on user feedback on MyLibrary@NCState and general feedback from library users (including web survey responses). Questions posed to these focus groups were designed to test our assumptions by soliciting suggestions for new features in an open-ended fashion. It was also designed to help us prioritize development by asking subjects to rank potential features in terms of how often they would use them.
