Approved Retention and Disposition Schedules at NCSU

University General Schedule

Currently, the University General Schedule for the UNC System is the only approved schedule for records created and maintained by NCSU offices. All other schedules that had existed prior to June 2007 have been superseded.

For records not covered by the University General Schedule, please refer to NCSU's Policies, Regulations and Rules REG 01.25.12. Paragraph 5 has procedures on creating Unit Specific Addenda Schedules to cover these records. Paragraph 6 has instructions for the destruction of records not listed on any retention and disposition schedules.
