How to Get ERIC Documents (EDs)- Distance Learner Version

ERIC Documents (EDs) are the grey literature of education -- teaching guides, research reports, instructional materials, test and evaluation instruments, etc. ERIC Documents have an ED number. Most do not have other citation information (ex. no journal title, volume, etc.), , but occasionally the ERIC Document is a complete special issue of a journal. Example:

Many EDs from 1993 to the present are available online through ERIC. You must check ERIC for online availability. If it is not available, you may place a request for the library to send you a copy of the ED.

Please note: some EDs are very long - hundreds of pages. Download times can be long. Check the length before downloading or requesting the ED.
