How to Get ERIC Documents (EDs)

ERIC Documents (EDs) are the grey literature of education -- teaching guides, research reports, instructional materials, test and evaluation instruments, etc. ERIC Documents have an ED number. Most do not have other citation information (ex. no journal title, volume, etc.), but occasionally the ERIC Document is a complete special issue of a journal. Example:

Many EDs from 1993 to the present are available online through ERIC. All EDs (whether online or not) are available in D.H. Hill Library. Go to the Media/Microforms Center and ask for them by ED number.

Please note: some EDs are very long - hundreds of pages. Download times can be long. Check the length before downloading or requesting the ED.
