Document Delivery
The NCSU Libraries offers a Document Delivery service. For a cost-recovery fee the Libraries will copy and deliver articles from sources in our collection. This includes items in any of our branch libraries.
- How to Make a Request
- With a Campus ID or Library Borrower ID: If you have either of these, you can access this service via the Tripsaver request system or by logging in to MyLibrary and clicking on the "Tripsaver" tab.
Without a Campus ID or Library Borrower ID: If your are unaffiliated with the library, you can access the service by visiting our NCSU Libraries Delivery Service web page. From here you can register for the service and place requests.
- Delivery Methods
- Articles are scanned and posted to the web as PDFs. An email is sent to the requestor with retrieval instructions. Delivery by fax or campus mail is also available upon request.

NCSU faculty, staff, students and University affiliates
$8.00 per article up to 30 pages
$0.25 per page above 30
$5.00 additional charge per article for rush requests
Non-NCSU affiliated individuals (Friends of the Library, or other non-NCSU affiliated individuals, or organizations)
$16.00 per article up to 30 pages
$0.25 per page above 30
$10.00 additional charge per article for rush requests

- Payment Methods
- Invoices will be generated and mailed monthly. Patrons can pay invoices with a check, credit card, purchase card, or departmental IDT.
