Access Items on Ereserve

Search by Course Number

  1. Reserve items can be searched for by course number from the Libraries' Course Reserves Page.
  2. Type the course number in the blank without any spaces(example: TAM218). Click on the button "Search by course."
  3. Select your course number from the results list.
  4. Select the professor's name from the new results list.
  5. Scroll through the list of course reserves (click on "next page" to continue through the list).
  6. When you find the e-reserve you want to view, click on "To retrieve this item" or "Full text online - pdf" below the item information.
  7. On the login screen, keep the drop down menu as "NC State University." Click on "Continue Login" button.
  8. Type in your unity password for password. Click on "Login." (If you do not have a unity id, you cannot access e-reserves. E-reserves are available only for students taking the particular course.)
  9. Click on the "I agree" link on the Warning Concerning Copyright Restrictions page.
  10. The e-reserve will open and display in Adobe Acrobat.

Search By Instructor Name

  1. Reserve items can be searched for by instructor name from the Libraries' Course Reserves Page.
  2. Type the instructor's last name in the blank without any spaces (example: May-Plumlee). Click on the button "Search by instructor."
  3. Select the instructor name from the results list.
  4. Select the course number from the new results list.
  5. Scroll through the list of course reserves (click on "next page" to continue through the list).
  6. When you find the e-reserve you want to view, click on "To retrieve this item" or "Full text online - pdf" below the item information.
  7. On the login screen, keep the drop down menu as "NC State University." Click on "Continue Login" button.
  8. Type in your unity password for password. Click on "Login." (If you do not have a unity id, you cannot access e-reserves. E-reserves are available only for students taking the particular course.)
