Digital Camera & Camcorder Lending

The NCSU Libraries offers digital cameras and camcorders for check out to NCSU students, faculty, and staff. The loan period is one week with no renewals. Overdue charges accrue at the rate of $10.00 per day.

Minimum Specifications:
• 5.1 megapixel recording
• 2.5" color LCD
• 3x optical zoom
• USB PC/Mac connectivity

Digital SLR Camera Equipment

Professional Camcorder

• SDHC memory recording; cards available for checkout
• Still captures at 10.6 megapixels
• 12x optical zoom
• External microphone
• USB PC/Mac connectivity
• 3 hours of HD record time per 32GB card

High Definition Camcorders

• Internal memory recording
• Still captures at 7 megapixels
• USB PC/Mac connectivity

Standard Camcorders

• MiniDV recording
• Still captures
• Firewire capable
• Tapes not included, but are sold through the vending machine beside the Circulation Desk in D. H. Hill library, and at most NCSU bookstores, Target, Best Buy, etc.

Flip Video

• Internal memory recording
• Still captures
• USB PC/Mac connectivity
• Up to 60 minutes of record time
