Class of 1989 Reading Room

The NC State Class of 1989 chose to furnish the reading room in the main library's South Tower with its senior class gift. The gift funded, in part, handsome cherry tables and chairs for the room and comfortable furniture for the adjacent lounges and mezzanine. It also founded the Class of 1989 Reading Room Endowment. The endowment provides for the perpetual refurbishment of the reading room and its adjacent lounges and mezzanine.

In honor of this generous gift, the reading room was named the Class of 1989 Reading Room. A plaque in the area lists all members of the NC State Class of 1989 who contributed to the 1989 senior class gift.
