Search for Textual Material and Audio
To search for images or text, select the search type from the pull-down menu, and enter a phrase in the box above. Results will open in a new window. Once within this window, you can perform other searches without returning to this page.
Currently, we are not able to provide a search that will return both images and textual materials. You must search for images and textual materials separately.
You can also browse for images and text by subject term or by geographic location.
Rights
Please be aware that some materials may be protected by copyright. To view the rights information for an image in the image database, first select a thumbnail view and then select the "Data" option from the left-hand menu. For text, view the "Full metadata record" that accompanies each document. Please contact us for further information.
