The Special Collections Research Center’s collections are particularly strong in both published and unpublished material relating to the history of plant biology. The papers of noted scientists, as well as records from the University Archives, combine to trace the history of botanical research in North Carolina for over one hundred years.
Printed books for both the scientific researcher and the casual gardener are available for consultation in the rare book collections.
