The history of North Carolina State University may be pieced together not only through the University Archives, but also through books, manuscripts, and photographs contained in the Special Collections Research Center. The records of university departments and administrative offices, as well as the papers of faculty members and students, combine with printed collections, including course catalogs and yearbooks, to detail the university’s history.
