I have this date discussed with Dr. Beck the question as to whether the O.R.N.L. people of the Atomic Energy Commission had been informed that the Raleigh Research Reactor was operating without the use of the recombiner system as indicated on pages 13 and 14 in N. C. S. C. No. 46.

Dr. Beck stated that they have been informed of this, and by such transmission of information have agreed to these procedures for present operations.

Such information is pertinent to my position (R.S.O) as spelled out in the contract, and I am submitting this memo to you for the purpose of having a record in my files.
