It is recommended that a selsyn system be installed on the
Safety rod and Control rod position indicators. This will
make the position indicating motion available outside of the
radiation field.
It is also recommended that the same procedure be followed
relative to the shim position indicators.
It is particularly important that this be done as soon as
possible, and before much activation takes place to avoid
a lone "cooling off" time.
