Belmont

Belmont Abbey
Belmont Abbey, NC 28012
704/824-6677

The archives of the Belmont Abbey has a collection of the work ecclesiastical architect Dom Michael McInerney, O.S.B. (b. 1877-d. 1963) who designed churches and schools throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The bulk of the collection was dispersed among clients in 1980, however the archives retains a small sample. The archives includes a photograph collection that documents most of McInerney's work.
