The Game Lab supports the scholarly study of digital games, and also provides a place for students to take a break from their studies and play games for fun. The room is equipped with multiple gaming systems and a 20.3’ X 5’ Christie MicroTiles® touch-interactive display, which can be used as a single panoramic screen or divided into up to eight sections with varying inputs.  

Free-play is available anytime the Game Lab is not reserved by faculty or graduate students for research or teaching purposes; reservations for free-play are not required.

Public and privacy modes are available.  Privacy mode is not permitted for free-play.

Reservation and Use Guidelines

Reservable up to 6 months in advance.
Reserve for up to 4 hours.
Reservable by Graduate Students, Faculty.
After 15 minute grace period for arrival, space becomes available to others.
