SciFinder Scholar Client
Digital access to the Chemical Abstracts Database is available to NCSU Libraries users via SciFinder Scholar client software. SciFinder Scholar software is available to download, but access to the CAS database with the software is restricted to NC State University IP addresses (i.e., the software must be run on campus). It is also available for use on PCs in the Libraries (under the Windows Start menu, not the application launcher).
SCIFINDER SCHOLAR 2007 CLIENT DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS
SciFinder Scholar 2007 requires either MS Windows 2000 (SP3 or higher), XP (SP1 or SP2), or Vista, or Mac OS X (10.3 or higher). Please also verify your computer meets other system requirements listed here before installation. Select your operating system below for installation files and instructions.
If your computer does not meet the system requirements, or you have difficulties running SciFinder Scholar 2007, you may still be able to run SciFinder Scholar 2006. Click here to view the SciFinder Scholar 2006 installation page.
