The Special Collections Research Center holds approximately 80 manuscript collections on the built environment and related fields. These collections are rich in twentieth-century designs, and they include drawings of commercial, educational, and residential buildings and landscapes. The University Archives holds similar materials on the buildings and grounds of the NC State campus. The Rare Book Collection contains classic works on the history of architecture.
