Subject Specialists can work with you individually providing research expertise. Research and Information Services, Branch Libraries, and Special Collections Research Center all have experts who can provide research guidance and advice on such tasks as conducting literature reviews, choosing databases, setting up search alerts, and finding data, primary historical documents, and conference proceedings.

SearchAssist is a literature search service designed to support university research; it is available to NC State faculty, graduate students, undergraduates engaged in research grants and projects, research staff, and university administration. SearchAssist enhances the research process with convenient, personalized, expert database searching by Subject Specialist librarians.
