An initiative to develop a tool set for creating mobile enhancements to exhibits.
Overview
The increasing power and ubiquity of mobile devices presents libraries with opportunities to use their digital collections in new ways. This project is an initiative to develop tool sets and techniques for creating lightweight mobile applications to complement and enhance physical exhibits.

This project makes use of a variety of technologies and existing digital collections infrastructure, including:
- Ruby on Rails application framework
- Solr enterprise search platform
- Djatoka image server
- jQuery Mobile JavaScript framework
- QR Code matrix barcodes
