Completed in early 2007, the renovation of the D. H. Hill Library's East Wing allowed the Libraries to create a new Special Collections Research Center including a well-appointed reading room, a state-of-the-art exhibit gallery, and a conservatory. In addition, the building's infrastructure was upgraded and a technology-rich Learning Commons opened, to the acclaim of students.
