"The Mobilization of Education: Soldier-Students and the Wartime Years at North Carolina State College," which will be displayed in the mezzanine area of the new book tower, tells the story of NC State's activities during World War II. Mobilization of education meant that the college's programs, courses, and campus all changed to meet the demands of the American military to halt the Axis threat. Objects and manuscripts on display come from Special Collections and University Archives.
