"Sixth Annual NCSU Libraries Faculty Award"


Nomination forms for the Libraries' Sixth Annual Faculty 
Award will soon be distributed to departments across campus.  
Established in commemoration of the Libraries' centennial 
year, 1989, the annual award allows the Libraries a formal 
opportunity to recognize the special contributions of NCSU 
faculty to the operations and development of the Libraries.  
Previous award winners are JERRY M. DAVIS (Department of 
Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences), NORMAN D. ANDERSON 
(Mathematics and Science Education), HERMAN BERKHOFF 
(College of Veterinary Medicine's Department of Microbiology, 
Pathology, and Parasitology), ALEXANDER DE GRAND (History 
Department), and MAURICE FARRIER (Entomology Department).
