Keener, 'Library Van Delivers', NCSU Libraries Newsletter v21n09 (April 1994) _The NCSU Libraries Newsletter_ Volume 21 no. 9 April 1994 Keener, Don, and Charles Gilreath "Library Van Delivers" In February the NCSU Libraries initiated a delivery van service between the D. H. Hill Library and the following campus libraries: Design School Library, Learning Resources Library, Natural Resources Library, Textiles Library, and the Veterinary Medical Library. Twice daily on weekdays, mid-morning and mid-afternoon, the van picks up and delivers library materials among these libraries. Library users at any one of these libraries may request the use of a book, journal, or other library item housed in any of the other libraries. At this time, requests must be submitted in person, but the Libraries is planning to accept e-mail requests in the near future. As soon as the requested item can be located in the library where it is housed, the item will be placed on the next van and delivered to the library identified as most convenient for the user. The receiving library will notify the requester when the item is available for checkout. Some materials will be limited to use within the receiving library.
