Opportunities Available Through New System"


Faculty and students interested in sources of funding for 
research and study can now try searching the NCSU Libraries 
Information System.  Last year, NCSU's Sponsored Programs 
office acquired an online database of research funding 
opportunities--the Sponsored Programs Information Network 
(SPIN)--which was only available for searching through that 
office.  SPIN is now accessible through the new system. Try 
this path after logging on:

>From the main menu select option 4,
Resources on the NCSU Campus

>From there, choose option 3,
InfoPoint, NCSU Computing Center gopher

Next pick option 7,
Funding Opportunities

Then select option 5,
NCSU Research Administration

Finally, choose option 3,
SPIN Data

Also check out the Funding Opportunities screen (at the third 
step, above) for other funding information, including graduate 
student fellowships and NSF awards and programs.
