Norman D. Anderson, professor of mathematics and science 
education in the NCSU College of Education, received the 1992 
NCSU Libraries Faculty Award.  The annual award honors a 
faculty member for exceptional services to and support of the 
Libraries.  Anderson, a life member of the Friends of the 
Library, joined the NCSU faculty in 1963 and has demonstrated 
outstanding support for the library throughout his career at 
the University. Previous award winners were Maurice Farrier, 
Alexander De Grand, and Herman Berkhoff.
