The entry stairs in the lobby of the new addition to the D. H. 
Hill Library have been closed for repairs and modifications 
until June 1, 1992.  Signs redirecting pedestrian traffic are in 
place.

The modification is in response to a student petition 
requesting it and complaints from several individuals who 
have stumbled on the stairs.  The design is now being reviewed 
for improvements, and construction will begin after the last 
day of exams, May 5.

Any questions regarding the work should be directed to John 
Fields of Construction Management at ext. 5-6267.  The office 
apologies for any inconvenience.
