Gilreath, 'Reserve Room Circulation Jumps', NCSU Libraries Newsletter v19n02 (November 1991) _The NCSU Libraries Newsletter_ Volume 19 no. 2 November 1991 Gilreath, Charles L.01 "Reserve Room Circulation Jumps" Undoubtedly in response to the recent Kinko's decision by the courts, faculty members have heavily increased their use of the reserve collections in the NCSU Libraries. In the D. H. Hill Library, for example, reserve room circulation is up by nearly 146 percent over this period last year, with over 14,000 items circulated from July 1 through the end of September, 1991. The increased activity has kept the Reserve Room staff on their toes. While it is always a good rule for faculty members to provide library staff with their reserve lists as early as possible, it is especially important now that the number of items going onto reserve shelves has grown and the competition for those materials increases. Faculty members who have questions about reserve procedures should contact the D. H. Hill Reserve Room at ext. 5-2597 or the branch library serving their college or department.
