"Library Publishes List of Faculty Monographs"


In honor of Dr. Larry K. Monteith's installation as chancellor 
of North Carolina State University on October 23, 1991, the 
NCSU Libraries has published a booklet recognizing our 
faculty's achievements in scholarly publications.  _Monographs 
Published by NCSU Faculty, 1990-1991_ was compiled by Ronnie 
Pitman, who had overall coordination of the project, with the 
assistance of Frances Corbett.  Terry Crow was responsible for 
its design and production.  Copies were sent to Chancellor 
Monteith, as well as administrators and faculty across campus.  
External recipients included key members of the UNC General 
Administration, libraries in the UNC system, and the Friends of 
the Library board.

In conjunction with this event, Jacqueline Johnson mounted an 
exhibition of selected books included in the listing.  The 
exhibition will be on display in the main circulation lobby of 
the D. H. Hill Library from October 18 to November 15, 1991--
please come by to see it if you can.  A copy 
of the attractive booklet appears in the display.  
In addition, a limited number of extra copies are available at 
the Circulation and Reference desks for library staff and any 
others who would like to obtain their own copies.
