Fuller, 'New TRLN Cooperative Library Privilege Card', NCSU Libraries Newsletter v1995n00 (Fuller Linda) _The NCSU Libraries Newsletter_ Volume 22 no. 7 February 1995 Fuller, Linda "New TRLN Cooperative Library Privilege Card Faculty, staff, and students at NCSU now have easy access to the circulating collections at the UNC=ADChapel Hill libraries, Duke University libraries, and North Carolina Central University libraries. Patrons needing a Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN) borrowing permit should come to the D. H. Hill Library's main circulation desk and fill out the application for the new Cooperative Lending Card. Patrons will receive a plastic machine-readable card that can be used at all TRLN libraries and a brochure summarizing circulation policies for all TRLN institutions. The new machine-readable card replaces the blue paper TRLN card, which should make online charging easier and faster. The TRLN card will expire August 15 or December 30 of each year. These two dates cover the fall or the spring semester and both summer sessions. Current TRLN cards will have an August 15, 1995, expiration date and carry a twenty-eight- to thirty-day loan privilege. Cards issued during or after the first summer session will be given a December 30, 1995, expiration date.
