Casorso, 'Willie Moser and Barry Moser to Speak at FOL Special Lecture', NCSU Libraries Newsletter v1995n00 (Casorso Tracy) _The NCSU Libraries Newsletter_ Volume 22 no. 9 April 1995 Casorso, Tracy "Willie Moser and Barry Moser to Speak at FOL Special Lecture" Southern author Willie Morris and award-winning illustrator Barry Moser, on a national tour for their book _A Prayer for the Opening of Little League Season_, will speak at a special lecture co-hosted by the Friends of the Library of North Carolina State University and Quail Ridge Bookstore at 3:00 P.M. on April 27, 1995. The lecture will be followed by an informal reception and autographing session. The lecture is free and open to the general public. It will be held in the Faculty Senate Chambers on the second floor of the Erdahl-Cloyd Wing of the D. H. Hill Library. _A Prayer for the Opening of Little League Season_ is Morris's poetic tribute to children's baseball. First read by Morris at the opening Little League game in Jackson, Mississippi, on April 17, 1993, his poem/prayer is now accompanied by Barry Moser's paintings. Works by Morris include the autobiographies _New York Days_ and _North Toward Home_, the novel _The Last of the Southern Girls_, and his memoir for children _Good Old Boy: A Delta Boyhood. Barry Moser has illustrated such notable works as Dante's _Divine Comedy_, Herman Melville's _Moby Dick_, and _Alice's Adventures in Wonderland_ by Lewis Carroll.
