Tajiri, 'Internet Class Offered in July', NCSU Libraries Newsletter v1994n00 (Tajiri Liese) _The NCSU Libraries Newsletter_ Volume 21 no. 11 June 1994 Tajiri, Liese "Internet Class Offered in July" The NCSU Libraries and the NCSU Computing Center will offer their final summer session of the course "Exploring the Internet" on July 13 and 15 from 9:00 to 11:45 A.M. The course, requiring two half-days per session, provides a history of networks and their uses and gives hands-on experience using the Internet, including connecting to remote machines, transferring files, and using Internet tools such as gopher, WAIS, and Mosaic. The course is held in the Information Technologies Teaching Center on the second floor of the D. H. Hill Library's East Wing. These courses are open to all faculty, staff, and graduate students of the University who have an Internet account (Unity or EOS). Registration is handled by the Computing Center. Registration will be accepted via electronic mail or paper registration ONLY. NO PHONE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
