"Friends of the Library Booksale Reminder"


The time for the fifth annual Booksale is rapidly drawing near.  
A preview sale for life members of the Friends will be held on 
December 3, 1993, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., followed by a 
preview sale for the general Friends membership from 8:00 to 
9:30 p.m.  The sale opens to the general public on December 4, 
from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Early holiday shoppers will be able 
to select from a wide assortment of fiction and nonfiction 
works, as well as CDs, audiocassettes, and videocassettes.  In 
addition, the Libraries' Staff Association and Preservation 
Committee will be selling T-shirts, mugs, and totebags 
featuring the library's logo.  Proceeds from the sale of these 
keepsakes will be used to augment the Libraries' Preservation 
Endowment and Staff Development Endowment funds.
