"Library Mounts Honors Convocation Exhibit"


In conjunction with the NCSU Honors Convocation and the 
formal installation of Dr. Larry K. Monteith as chancellor, the 
library will mount an exhibition honoring NCSU faculty authors 
of books or monographic works published during the time that 
Monteith has led the University.  Faculty who had books 
published in 1990 or 1991 should call Frances Corbett at ext. 
5-3833 as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, the number and the 
nature of the format of journal articles make these 
publications too difficult to display in an exhibit arrangement.

The Libraries may ask some authors to loan copies of their 
books to the library for the duration of the exhibit.  The works 
will be handsomely displayed in secure presentation cases.

The library is pleased to recognize the scholarship of the 
University's faculty.  In addition to the exhibition, a 
commemorative publication is planned to document NCSU 
authors, their works, and their departments.
