"New Branch Librarians Appointed"


The NCSU Libraries welcomed two new staff members on 
July 1, 1991.  Carolyn Argentati became the head of the
Natural Resources Library, where she had been working as the
interim head since November 1, 1990.  Argentati brings many
years of professional library experience to this position,
particularly in the field of computer mass storage technology.

The library also appointed Dora Zia as head of the Veterinary 
Medical Library.  Formerly the interim head of that branch 
library, Zia has held professional positions in state 
government, private industry, and academic communities.  She 
is particularly skilled as an online searcher and holds the 
Medical Library Association certification.
