Friends of the Library--A Permanent Tribute

In fall 2005 the NCSU Libraries began honoring the memory of recently deceased faculty members and current students of the NC State University community by selecting and purchasing a book in their fields of study. A memorial bookplate will be placed in each book in their honor.

The Libraries has also begun memorializing the lives of deceased library staff by purchasing engraved bricks in their honor. Staff members of the NCSU Libraries make invaluable contributions to the life of the university and its students, faculty, and staff. It is an honor to remember them in such a public and permanent way.
