Friends of the Library--Jan Karon Gives Special Reading

The Friends of the Library and Quail Ridge Books and Music jointly hosted Jan Karon, author of the hugely popular Mitford Series, at a special reading held on November 14, 2005. Karon read from and discussed Light from Heaven, the latest and final book in the series. Members of the audience delighted in her folksy delivery while Karon explored the sources of inspiration for her fiction and possible future directions for her work.
