Friends of the Library News--April Book Sale

The Friends will hold its annual Book Sale from April 20 through
April 22, 2006, under a tent on the Brickyard. Books will be priced
to sell with hardbacks selling for $4.00 and paperbacks selling
for $1.00 each. Special items, such as signed copies or first editions,
may be priced slightly higher.
The April 20 date is reserved for Friends of the Library members
only. The public sale begins on Friday, April 21, and goes through
Saturday, April 22. Special bargains will be available toward the
end of Saturday. Proceeds from the sale go toward enhancing the
collection and services of the NCSU Libraries.
Book Sale Volunteers Are Needed
The Friends has many volunteer opportunities available for the April
Book Sale. These include organizing book donations, helping to set
up and run the sale, and assisting with special events. Those interested
in volunteering with the Friends of the Library, please call Anne
Schnatter at (919) 515-2841, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to
