Friends of the Library Spring Dinner

The accolades keep coming for Lee Smith's latest best-selling book, The Last Girls, published in September 2002 by Algonquin Press of Chapel Hill. ABC's Good Morning America selected the novel for its monthly reading club in January 2003.

Smith will speak about The Last Girls and other projects at the Friends of the Library's annual Spring Dinner on Wednesday, April 30, 2003. The dinner is at NC State's McKimmon Center. Advance reservations are required. Please call the Friends' office at (919) 515-2841 for ticket information.
