North Carolina Literary Festival Replaces 2002 Writers Series
The North Carolina Literary Festival, which will be held at UNC-Chapel Hill
on April 5 and 6, 2002, will replace this year's North Carolina Writers Series.
The literary festival will feature a weekend packed full of discussions, readings,
and performances. Check the schedule of authors and events on the Web at http://www.lib.unc.edu/nclitfest.
The new North Carolina Literary Festival is an educational and outreach project
cooperatively sponsored by the UNC-CH, NC State, and Duke University libraries
through their respective Friends of the Library programs. It will be held on
alternating years, with Chapel Hill hosting the 2002 festival. NC State will
host the festival in 2004, while Duke University will feature the 2006 event.
