Friends of the Library News: Nancy Olson--Bookseller of the Year

Quail Ridge Books and Music, owned by Friends of the Library board member
Nancy Olson, was selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2001 Publishers
Weekly Bookseller of the Year Award. Quail Ridge also received other notable
awards this year, including the 2001 Louise Micheel Pannell Award for Excellence
in Children's Bookselling and the 2001 Charles B. Haslam Excellence in Bookselling
Award. Guests at the Friends' 2001 Spring Dinner all wore pins celebrating
Olson's Bookseller of the Year award and her many contributions to literacy
and the Raleigh community.
Quail Ridge Books has served the Raleigh area with quality programs and services
since 1984. It is located in the Ridgewood Shopping Center at the corner of
Wade Avenue and Ridge Road.
