Annual Spring Dinner

Guest Speaker, Tony Earley, author of the critically acclaimed Jim the
Boy
Tony Earley's short stories have earned him a place on Granta's list
of the 20 Best Young American Fiction Writers in 1996 and a National Magazine
Award for fiction. His novel Jim the Boy received the Southeastern
Booksellers Association's 2001 award for best in fiction. He has been included
in the anthologies Best American Short Stories and New Stories
from the South. In 1994 he published a collection of short stories entitled Here
We Are in Paradise, and a new book of short stories will be published
by Algonquin Press in spring 2001.
