Disclosure
University faculty and students are required to disclose their inventions to the University's Office of Technology Transfer.
From the OTT's Web site: "As a public institution, NC State has a responsibility to make its research
results available for the benefit of the community. This transfer of academic
discovery is the core mission of the Office of Technology Transfer."
