Office of Personnel Services

The NCSU Libraries' Personnel Services Office coordinates the hiring, promotion, retention and development of NCSU Libraries staff. The office maintains records for all employees and coordinates the distribution of pay and allocation of leave. Specialized staff are prepared to help managers and supervisors with recruiting and hiring of new permanent and temporary staff, managing employee relations issues, dealing with diversity and ADA concerns, handling management and employment issues, and with planning for staff development.

The Personnel Services office is responsible for insuring that the Libraries follows Federal, State, and University laws and policies regarding employment, and supplements University policy documents with additional Libraries' policies when necessary.
