Formerly known as the Game Lab, The Landing is a versatile community space for collaboration and group activities. The room is equipped with a 19.68’ x 4.43’ Leyard LED touch-interactive display that is ideal for scholarly presentations, creative multimedia projects, exploring data, and collaborative coding exercises.

NC State University students, faculty, and staff can request to reserve for the following uses:

  • Class visits
  • Group collaboration and activities
  • Workshops
  • Wellness activities
  • Scholarly presentations, such as Master's & Ph.D. defenses

When not reserved for specific events, The Landing is open for social gathering and group work.

  •   How do I reserve and access this space?

    Fill out the request form and a Libraries staff member will be in touch with you in 2-3 business days. Please submit the request at least 14 days in advance of the requested date.

  •   How do I get there?

    Using Elevators

    • Go through the library gates past Ask Us
    • Continue straight until you reach the blue or third hallway to your right.
    • Turn right into the hallway for the elevators.
    • Take the elevators to the third floor.
    • After leaving the elevator bay, turn right and continue straight until you pass the stairs on your right.
    • The Game Lab will be on your right opposite the Dataspace.

    Using Stairs

    • Go through the library gates past Ask Us
    • Take the yellow stairs on your right to the third floor.
    • Turn right and Game Lab will be in on your right opposite the Dataspace.
