Hyun-Duck Chung, a new librarian at D.H. Hill is now providing reference and instruction for business & administration related topics. Hyun-Duck will be taking over for Katherine Dexter Willis, who is now enjoying her new role as a full time parent.

* receiving suggestions for resources you'd like the library to acquire,
* discussing any other questions or concerns you have about research and library services.

Making Use of Data

New Assistant Head for Digital Library Development

Effective 1 December 2006, Tito Sierra has been named Assistant Head for Digital Library Development in the Digital Library Initiatives Department.

He joins the department?s management team of Steve Morris and James Jackson Sanborn in a new role, providing leadership for the development of innovative applications that advance library services and collections, including the Libraries' Web site.

In March 2006, Sierra was named one of the year's "Movers & Shakers who are transforming libraries for the future" by the national trade publication Library Journal.

Chronicle Online

The NCSU Libraries is pleased to announce online access to the Chronicle of Higher Education Campuswide -- the number one news and job-information source for college and university faculty members, administrators, and staff.

The full content of each issue is now available to the NCSU community every Monday morning, with daily, Web-only updates. Web access also includes searchable archives from September 1989 to the present, annual Almanac of Higher Education data, and more (see the publisher?s full description).

Please note that when a user first goes to the "Careers" or technology pages, a pop-up box will appear on the screen. This box is set to appear once a month. Simply click the close button to close the box.
